Viktoria Volokitina

Viktoria Volokitina is an interactive media artist, originally from St. Petersburg and based in Abu Dhabi. Her work spans installation and digital environments, alongside a continuing practice in painting. She works in two registers: a phenomenology of painting, where material becomes a way of examining perception; and science-art, where technology turns the same attention toward the systems that watch, recognise, and shape us.

Her work has been exhibited at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, Erarta Museum, Zifergauz Gallery, and Gallery Zdes na Taganke. She is a winner of the National Championship Artmasters, a recipient of the Start Science-Art Grant, and was shortlisted for the Audi Born-Digital Award.
